Ryan Herd

Health Administration

Ryan identified a passion for helping others at a young age and chose to pursue an undergraduate degree in psychology. During that time, he had the opportunity to work in an administrative position at a residential behavioral health program. In this role, he discovered a passion for healthcare administration and is currently pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of Utah. Ryan has developed an interest in pursuing a career in value-based care within pediatric healthcare. He wants to help shift the focus to upstream approaches and improve the value of the overall healthcare experience for patients, families, and healthcare professionals. In his free time, Ryan enjoys reading, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He became interested in becoming involved in URLEND based on his background in psychology and his desire to make a difference in the lives of children and their families.
