Laura Hollaway

Laura Hollaway is a new PhD student, enrolled in the University of Idaho for Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disabilities. Laura has been in education within various roles for 10 years. She started out in preschool, completed her teaching degree at Western Oregon University and taught kindergarten and fourth grade. She then completed her Masters Degree from Western Oregon University in Special Education. Laura moved back to her home town of Burns, Oregon to teach. She works at a small rural school district in Crane, Oregon where she currently is the Special Education Teacher and Special Education District Director. Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children. They enjoy going on outdoor adventures and hanging out wherever they can find water! Laura is participating in the URLEND program to advance her knowledge in the field of neurodevelopment disorders and to support students with complex educational needs.
