Kari Weiss

Nursing

Kari Weiss is a newly graduated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Utah. She also holds a master's degree in Health Promotion and Education and a bachelor's degree in nursing, family studies, and human development. She has worked in the medical field for over 15 years with experience in oncology, surgery, and mostly neurology. Her goals are to be a trauma-informed practitioner who focuses on taking care of adopted children. She also is very involved in building policy and taking down silos to work more interprofessionally. She grew up in Sandy, Utah. She loves to paddleboard, take care of a garden, and lift weights or be active in some way. She spends her time with her two girls. She is interested in URLEND because she loves taking care of differently abled children and is a forever student!
