Emily Lube

Community

Emily Lube is a Senior Project Coordinator at the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND) in Laramie, Wyoming. She works on health-focused community education and training programs for various audiences, including UW ECHO programs and other training modalities that address mental health needs, overall wellness, and building capacity to provide quality and accessible healthcare for people with disabilities.

Originally from Minnesota, Emily enjoyed growing up in the Midwest with her parents, two sisters, and extended family. She earned her B.S. in Public Health and a minor in Spanish from Saint Louis University's College of Public Health and Social Justice in Missouri, where she had the opportunity to travel to Spain and Argentina for a year to live in intentional learning communities. Professionally, she has spent multiple summers providing direct care to youth with autism, teaching high school English, and serving as the medical coordinator and volunteer coordinator at a children's home in rural Honduras, where she supported children and young adults who had experienced severe trauma.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys being an aunt and spending time with family across Wyoming, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Virginia. She loves hiking, paddleboarding, reading historical fiction and nonfiction, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen to minimize food waste, and seeking out opportunities to speak Spanish with friends and colleagues.
