Molly Kimmel, MS, OTR/L

Montana Coordinator / Occupational Therapy

Molly graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in Psychology before moving to Philadelphia to work in adult education. Working with men and women with mental illness and a history of homelessness informed her decision to pursue occupational therapy as an avenue to help children and adults more fully participate in meaningful, necessary, and valuable activities. She moved to Seattle and received her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington in 2010.

After 10 years in direct patient care, Molly Kimmel transitioned into the role of Program Director at MonTECH, Montana’s statewide assistive technology program in Missoula, Montana. She also practices occupational therapy part-time at Saint Patrick Hospital where she serves infant and pediatric populations. As a past URLEND trainee, she worked on program development at her hospital before joining URLEND as faculty in 2018. She is passionate about neurodevelopmental rehabilitation across the lifespan, assistive technology, and connecting with other Montanans to best care for individuals and families across the state.
