Mandy Kartchner
Family / Special Education
Mandy Kartchner is the Program Director for The Special Education Project. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Westminster College, a Special Education Certification from Utah State and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University. She received a Mediator's Certificate from S.J. Quinney College of Law in June 2023.
She has served in multiple roles in education including Special Education Teacher, Special Education Director, Vice Principal and School Director. She served as a board member for the Interagency Coordinating Council for Children and Infants with Disabilities. Personal and professional experiences have led her to be involved in improving special education services for students with disabilities in Utah.
