URLEND Leadership Training Expectations
This full day seminar will provide a detailed overview of the URLEND requirements and how these requirements tie into the development of leadership skills. The seminar includes:

1) Using the Distance format
A discussion of the rules and etiquette of distance education.

2) HIPAA Presentation / Confidentiality Review
Presenter: Christine Greene

3) Overview of family component
Discussion of activities and expectations related to ongoing family contact
Presenters: Gina Pola-Money and family participants

4) Leadership
Overview of leadership activities and initial discussion of / planning for leadership/research projects
Presenter: Terry Pavia

5) Overview of clinical sites and expectations.
An overview of the clinical sites including descriptions and expectations. Trainees sign up for clinics.

6) Cultural effectiveness
Discussion of how to effectively work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

URLEND Clinic Preparation Day
Syllabus 5b

In groups, faculty and trainees discuss roles and responsibilities for the parent-directed interdisciplinary clinics. This clinic will allow trainees and regional trainees to participate in evidence-based interdisciplinary practice with families playing the lead role in identifying concerns.
